JANUARY 13-Sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan in New York, and co-sponsored by the Nippon Club and Japanese-American Association of New York (JAANY), JCCI welcomed this year’s virtual celebration in good spirits with a little over 120 participants, hearing remarks from Ambassador Kanji Yamanouchi, Consulate General of Japan in New York; JCCI President Mr. Hidenori Takaoka; Nippon Club President Mr. Sayu Ueno; Japan Day Inc. Representative Mr. Atsushi Ueda; JAANY President-Elect Mr. Koji Sato; JETRO, New York President Mr. Ken-ichi Kawamoto; and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Executive Director Mr. Michiaki Yamada.
The event was followed by a breakout room session, where guests could network with one another and exchange virtual business cards.
